Dr. Tami Pierce returns to the East Bay after five years as a clinical veterinarian at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine teaching senior veterinary students primary care medicine and dentistry. She graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 with a focus in small animal medicine. Following graduation she entered private practice in the East Bay where she practiced small animal and exotic medicine. While in private practice she completed a Don Low Fellowship in Behavior at the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine in Davis. Dr Pierce was also an Adjunct Professor at the Veterinary Technician program at Cosumnes River Community College and worked at a feline exclusive practice prior to her appointment at UC Davis. Her main focus is offering high quality general veterinary medicine to her clients and patients but she also has an interest in behavioral medicine and general dentistry. Dr. Pierce is married and shares her home with 2 corgis, 4 cats and a blue and gold macaw.
