Dr. Jamie Peyton |

Dr. Jamie Peyton was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Ohio, New Jersey, and Florida. She obtained her bachelors degree in Zoology from Auburn University and then attended the University of Florida for veterinary medicine. After receiving her DVM degree in 2004, she continued her training in a medical and surgical internship at Texas A&M.; She then moved to northern California and completed a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of California at Davis.
After achieving her board certification in the specialty of Emergency and Critical Care, Dr. Peyton worked at a small animal specialty practice as head of the Critical Care Service, before joining her new professional family at the Four Seasons Animal Hospital. Her professional interests include respiratory disease and ventilator medicine, intensive care nutrition, cardiovascular monitoring, and teaching.
On her days off, Jamie spends most of her time working on the farm with her husband and their large family of animals. She enjoys riding and training her horses, and raising Old English Babydoll Sheep, Alpacas, and Llamas. |
