Our mission is to create a unified team dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary health care. |
|
A “unified” team is one that partners an integrated group of exceptional healthcare providers with committed pet owners who want to be involved in their pet’s health care. A unified team means that family practitioners, specialists, alternative therapists, nurses, and support staff understand that a coordinated and cooperative effort is the best way to care for pet owners and their pets throughout a lifetime. We are committed to unified care within the walls of our hospital and when working with other practices in the community who share these goals.
“Exceptional” veterinary health care means more than a modern facility, state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained staff. It means that general practitioners work seamlessly with specialists early in the course of a medical problem to optimize long-term outcome. It means that the pet owner is part of the medical care team, and that doctors work cooperatively with the pet’s wellness and the pet owner’s welfare in mind.
“Exceptional” does not mean that every diagnostic or therapeutic procedure has to be the most exotic or the most expensive. Our doctors will always provide options when there are options that have a realistic chance of success. The cost will be discussed openly along with the risks involved so that pet owners can find the right balance between what is possible and what is practical.
“Exceptional” means that our motive is not profit. Our motive will continue to be what is best for the pet and what is practical and affordable to the pet owner. We pledge to commit our resources to maintaining a modern facility, retaining skilled doctors and staff, and doing our best to hold down the rising cost of health care. |
